HEICO expands in Leipzig
HEICO Aircraft Maintenance is expanding! The starting signal for the construction of our new premises at Leipzig Airport has been given. For more than five years now, we have been working on site with our specialists from eight nations for the repair of aircraft structural components and for non-destructive testing of aircraft structures. Our EASA and FAA Part-145 certified MRO operation is only a few minutes away from Leipzig Airport (LEJ), one of the largest cargo hubs in Europe. Due to the positive development at our customers, especially in air freight, the number of aircraft to be serviced is growing steadily. With the new building, we are investing in state-of-the-art systems for the repair of fiber composite materials and for sheet metal processing. In the new, modern infrastructure, we are significantly expanding our repair portfolio. "We will increase our space and capacities here at the site by more than 50%, on the one hand to meet the increased demand for our services and on the other hand to optimize performance, especially when handling large components such as thrust reversers and flight controls" , Dieter Krah, Managing Director HEICO Aircraft Maintenance GmbH. We are looking forward to moving to the new premises before the end of this year and are of course already looking for active reinforcement for our team, e.g. as Composite Repair Technician (m/f/d), Sheet Metal Repair Technician (m/f/d) or material tester ZfP (m/f/d). We would like to specifically enable young specialists from the region to get started in the repair of aircraft components. With the necessary manual skills and good basic knowledge of plastic and metal processing, you can make a career at HEICO. Just mail to: career(at)heico.de
