Two more supermarkets for HEICO basic supply fund.

HEICO Investment Management GmbH has acquired two EDEKA stores for its basic supply fund. The two locations in Bavaria in Roßtal and Hofheim in Lower Franconia have a land area of ​​around 18.000 m² and a rental area of ​​around 6.000 m² and are being leased back by EDEKA Nordbayern-Sachsen-Thüringen on a long-term basis. The purchase price has not been disclosed. For EDEKA Nordbayern-Sachsen-Thüringen, the sale is another building block in its long-term financing strategy to refinance its investment program in future-proof infrastructure in retail, logistics, IT and production. Investment activity will total more than EUR 2022 billion in the period from 2026 to 1,3. With the acquisition, HEICO is expanding its basic supply fund to now 33 properties with over 150.000 m² of rental space.

The sales process was supported on the EDEKA side by JenAcon as transaction advisor and legally by the GrothmannGeiser law firm. HEICO received legal advice from Walch Rittberg Nagel, and x.project carried out the technical due diligence.
