Composite Repair Technician: As part of an internal training course, we offer qualified specialists (m/f/d) the opportunity for lateral entry into the field of repairing aircraft components made of fiber composite materials. Do you have completed technical training, e.g. as a plastics technician, laminator, coachbuilder, carpenter, painter and are you enthusiastic about aviation? Your tasks

  • Recognition of damage to GRP/CRP components with determination of appropriate repair measures and the materials required for this
  • Read, understand and apply relevant repair documentation, work orders and drawings
  • Carrying out repair work on aircraft components made of GRP/CRP materials
  • Use of testing and measuring equipment
  • Shanks, laminating, curing with vacuum assemblies and various heat methods as well as post-processing, painting, polishing
  • Quality control and technical documentation of the work carried out
  • Care and maintenance of tools

Your profile

  • Completed technical or manual training, e.g. as a plastics technician, laminator, coachbuilder, carpenter, painter or a comparable qualification
  • Motivation to acquire the necessary specialist knowledge
  • Independent, structured and service-oriented way of working
  • Good communication skills, high social skills
  • German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident use of MS Office applications
  • Driving license class B
