As Maintenance Manager Aviation (m/f/d) you will ensure that production processes run smoothly and that repair and maintenance orders for aircraft components are completed properly and on time. Your tasks

  • Superordinate responsibility for the production process and ensuring trouble-free work processes
  • Organization and monitoring of the proper and professional implementation of all maintenance work using the specified procedures and compliance with the relevant specifications
  • Planning of the shifts and assignments of the employees, taking into account the qualifications/authorizations
  • Prioritization and planning of maintenance work according to economic and other aspects
  • Planning of qualification, training and further education measures to maintain the qualifications / authorizations
  • Ensuring material availability and timely procurement of components to carry out the work within the specified TAT
  • Maintaining the specified repair documentation and monitoring the application
  • Ensuring the timely and meaningful documentation of the inspections and maintenance work - tear down report, maintenance record, etc.
  • Ensuring the proper storage and safekeeping of tools, materials and technical systems
  • Continuous coordination with the QM, logistics and sales departments
  • Reporting/coordination with management

Your profile

  • Studies in aerospace engineering or comparable training
  • Many years of professional experience in the maintenance management of aircraft components
  • In-depth knowledge of repair procedures for composite / metal components
  • Knowledge of the EASA / FAA Part 145 regulations and the relevant aviation standards
  • Structured way of working and a high degree of responsibility
  • Strong communication skills and strong social skills
  • Very good knowledge of English
