As part of an internal training course, we offer qualified specialists (m/f/d) the opportunity to laterally enter the field of repairing aircraft components as Sheet Metal Repair Technician (m/f/d). Do you have completed technical training in the field of metalworking, e.g. as a specialist in metal technology, toolmaker, metalworker and are you enthusiastic about aviation? Your tasks

  • Carefully inspect components for damage and determine repair techniques and materials needed
  • Use of the specified repair documentation, work instructions and technical drawings
  • Repair of aircraft components using standard methods (drilling, riveting, sawing, edging and bending)
  • Inspection of the work performed using test and measurement equipment and documentation of all activities
  • Simultaneous processing of various orders and ensuring timely completion

Your profile

  • Completed technical or manual training, e.g. as a mechanic (m/f/d) sheet metal processing/structural mechanic (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Motivation to acquire the necessary specialist knowledge
  • Independent, structured and service-oriented way of working
  • Good communication skills, high social skills
  • German and English skills, both written and spoken
  • Confident use of MS Office applications
  • Driving license class B
